Being a mom is the most rewarding and challenging job I have.  Everyday I'm amazed by what a cool human I created!  Watching him grow, learn, and become his own person is by far the highlight of my life.  I just wish he was a little less of an adrenaline junkie. My mom heart is proud and TERRIFIED.

My mom is my rock.  It's been her and I against the world.  One of the things I'm most proud of with the businesses I've created is that I've been able to provide an opportunity to give her a place to work and thrive in her talents, spend time with her grandson and travel with my step-dad.

My support system.  The people who know me best.  The ones who aren't scared to tell me what they REALLY think.  They forgive me when I'm not as present as I want to be.  They pull me out of my funks and encourage me to slow down. We've been there through it all.  Love. Loss.  Marriage.  Divorce.  Kids.  They are my people.

The role that kinda just fell into my lap.  I love being creative, and I love to make things look pretty.  Designing just naturally started to follow as my real estate career grew.  As I built relationships, people started to ask for my opinions and for help and I was happy to do just that!  I love being able to make a vision come to life - especially if I can do it finding cheaper dupes! I've been fortunate to decorate custom model homes down to a living room refresh for clients...so fun!

Most people are surprised to learn that I am an introvert at heart - it's crazy, I know.  Despite how much I love my alone time, I am a big believer in sharing all of my experiences and knowledge.  A lot of inspiration and ideas have come from conferences, so I'm always honored to be asked to speak at events and share my story or experiences in the hopes that it can help inspire someone else or make them feel not so alone in this crazy business.  

This role is my PASSION!  Helping other agents learn, grow, and become amazing agents, is so rewarding to me - I love to see the light bulb moment when things start to click and watch as an agent's confidence grow.  It's brings me great joy and warms my heart to be part of their business journey. 

Being a business owner is one of my proudest accomplishments.  When I first started out on my entrepreneurial journey, I was very self conscious about not having a college degree . What I did have was grit, determination, a lot of ideas, and I had faith that those things would take me far enough to figure out the business part.  Being the leader can be intimidating and hard.  There's a lot of pressure and all eyes are on you - but I am so incredibly proud of what I've built and there is absolutely NOTHING I would rather be doing with my life. I'm incredibly grateful for the highs and the lows this business has presented.

One thing you will hear me say over and over again, is that I am not a gatekeeper of my ideas.  I'm typically an open book on my systems, processes, and ideas.  I'm a firm believer in sharing of ideas making our industry as a whole better - collaboration over competition.  It was why I started our local facebook mastermind group so many years ago which has over 6K members currently.  When I started thinking about ideas for The Method, one of the things I wanted was a place where everyone could share all of their ideas and get inspiration.  A place where even I could have conversations with people about the topics we really wanted to talk about, not just the typical conversations you find at most conferences.  That's where the masterminds were birthed - from a place of curiosity and a desire to bring more togetherness to our industry.  I love that each month I get to host 200 of our local agents together and provide a time for us to talk, get to know each other outside of the transaction, and (maybe selfishly) learn a little bit about something I'm curious about.
